Alaska Trip Highlights:
(shoutout @dyl.nelly for the flag picture with all his polaroids)

The South Sawyer Glacier expedition was definitely a top highlight. The 8 hour boat ride was well worth it to see God’s hand-crafted fijords leading to the breathtaking glacier.

Hiking Mt. Juneau was the most difficult part and one of the most memorable for those who partook in the adventure.

The Mendenhall Glacier float trip utilized the highest team work exercise of the trip with paddling together. Getting splashed with freezing cold glacier water helped build camaraderie as well.

Bonfire night was one of the most relaxing nights. It was a beautiful evening for it on the beach, and we had a beautiful view for it. Fr. Max cooked hotdogs and Olivia cooked the mac-and-cheese for dinner.

Hiking Eagle Crest on Douglas Island with the whole group was one of the most fun activities. It was an easy path/ trail we were on, but the incline made it very difficult. Running down it was an interesting experience as well.

The Salmon fishing charter from @thelocalguycharters was one of the most memorable parts of the trip. Catching, filleting, and eating the salmon was a great experience and one we will never forget.

Nugget Falls was the last adventure we had, and was a beautiful and cold one to end it on. Some of us went swimming to make it even more memorable.

Songs of the trip: “Free Bird” and “I Miss You”.

Quote of the trip: “Eat Santa Eat”
