AND THAT’S A WRAP!

What a weekend 🇯🇲❤️

Thank you to every single person who came down and made the very first UK Jerk Fest one to remember.

Over 5,000 of you joined us to celebrate authentic Jamaican jerk, music and culture. Together you helped make our inaugural festival a complete sell out 🔥

This is only the beginning! We’ll see you in 2027 👀

33 years. No social media. Just real community 🇯🇲✨

Big love to Rice & Peas in East Dulwich for serving authentic Jamaican food for over three decades 🙌🏾

Built on word of mouth, loyal customers, and pure consistency always a warm smile, proper good food… and of course our patties 😋

2025 - Let go of my will, and let God choose my course. Grateful to God, for the impact he had on my life and what he will do in 2026. First post in about 3 years 😂, so who knows when the next will be 🤷🏾‍♂️

Smile More. Stress Less. Live Loud. Praise Louder🌹

Keeping your head above water when life seems to what to drown you is one of the most consistent definite we can expect out of life. They say it’s about how you respond that determines if you Swim or Drown.

But with the Lord you realize the real goal is actually to float. Because when the enemy comes against you as a flood he sets a banner against it Isaiah 59:19.

Take a Breath. Speak to the Lord. Go for a walk. Cry if needed. Phone a Friend. Cook a nice meal. Take a Nap. And keep on the journey.

Anywaysssss let’s Crack on Shall weeeee🧃❣️

2025, we deya🫡 (late post, illness🥲)

2024 was a heck of a ride - a transformational year for Black Eats & myself personally.

Starting the year with so much uncertainty moving from what was our home of 3 years into a new venue & creating a whole new experience, Black Eats Fest, whilst going independent & growing a team to help deliver it.

Partnering with the most festivals & large-scale events in a year (to date) including the likes of @xthetracks @citysplashfest @wirelessfest @bigsmokefestival @dltbrunch @rec.ess @ukblackpride.

Putting myself at the forefront, speaking on panels, talks & telling the Black Eats story. Featured by @bet_uk @seasonedbf @britishgq & more.

Last year was a year of growth & intentionality and we continue to learn & evolve into 2025.

Thanks for rocking with us🤞
