New Mexico’s top nursing program is climbing nationally. 🐺

The UNM College of Nursing’s BSN program jumped 62 spots to No. 56 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2027 Best Colleges rankings, placing it among the top 10% nationwide.

Join us for our High Acuity Lifesaving Outcomes Symposium. A dynamic conference designed for providers in EMS, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Neonatology, and Critical Care. This event delivers hands-on training, simulation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Be ready for the moments that matter most. Hands-on specialty pre-conference sessions will be held on November 3rd.
The main conference will have two tracks on November 4th - 5th, 2026, at Sandia Resort and Casino. Share and save the date!

🎓❤️ Welcome Back, The University of New Mexico (UNM)! @uofnm

Hole In The Heart was excited to be part of UNM North Campus Welcome Back Days, connecting with students from the The University of New Mexico School of Medicine, UNM College of Nursing, UNM College of Population Health, and UNM College of Pharmacy!

We loved visiting with returning students, sharing awareness about congenital heart defects (CHDs), and encouraging the next generation of healthcare and public health professionals to keep learning and asking questions that can make a difference in newborn health.

A special thank you to Luke Fahrlender, our Youth Board Member, who joined us for this special invitation and helped make the day even more meaningful!

❤️ We also hosted a drawing for a Survival Medical Tools Basket for students who participated in our newborn health survey.

What a great day of learning, connection, and community outreach! Keep learning. Keep asking. Keep advocating. Together, we can help more hearts be heard. ❤️
