Nickelodeon’s ‘Fun Flows Here’ had one line everyone at Comic-Con was not-so-secretly eyeing: the slime booth. Not only was it a memorable moment for the kids, it was a nostalgic moment for parents. The best part, all of it was captured right there on their phones to relive forever. Getting slimed used to be reserved for the Kids’ Choice Awards. This summer, it was open to anyone brave enough to step inside the booth.

build for the @newbalance SC launch allowed for runners to “Shop” the drop, try on both pairs, and put it to the test on the indoor treadmill. Walking through the pop-up guests found a customized Photo Booth and a space to sit and relax in the Therabody recovery area.

@newbalance handed us an empty white storefront on Abbot Kinney, and one sunny LA weekend to launch its new releases, SC Rebel and Elite. We started with a single question: how do we build for speed? Our answer: a space for wellness, experimentation, and the starting point for the Elites and the Rebels. Corrugated metal wrapped the walls while New Balance’s identity decorated it. From logos, to shoes to a holographic projection fan.

New balance was built inside an empty shop on Abbot Kinney. The outcome: a space to gather, rest, regenerate and more importantly, put some new kicks to the test.
