Six years ago, on Halloween 2020, I ran the Carrera de los Muertos virtually because of COVID. This year, the race falls on Halloween again—and this time, I get to run it in person! I still remember that amazing day in Pilsen: I went for a run at home when I with @midwaymilechasers took photos and videos, at Pilsen met @chi_los and won a skull, Best Video, and Best Photo. It was one of the best days I have had. This after like November I won I am excited to return for this special race and make more memories. I cannot wait! Trust me one my favorite race of all time Halloween can’t wait Enjoy the video I did while back

The 19th annual Carrera de los Muertos is officially sold out, with a record 9,000 runners registered for this year’s race! We have reached our fastest sellout ever and are proud to bring together runners from all over the country (and neighboring countries) for our biggest Carrera yet in Pilsen. Today is the first day of October, my favorite month—and the start of spooky season! Mother Nature did not cooperate with our plans to run with the @berwyn.runners_ . Thankfully, I arrived early, so we had time to choose another place to go. Sad to see @lasislasberwynil is closed We decided on @lalupitaberwyn , where we held our first social event. The pozole was delicious! Nice coke Since it was raining hard, we skipped the run and enjoyed a carb-loading meal instead. We had a wonderful evening and made some great memories. Today is a special day for me. Six years ago, I joined @midwaymilechasers , never imagining that running would become such an important part of my life. These six years have been truly amazing. I have met so many wonderful people and made friendships that I deeply value. I am incredibly grateful to my best friend, @773chiguy rene for encouraging me to join. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. After six years with MMC, we are still a running family. I have learned so much—not only about running, but also about myself. This journey has helped shape me into the person I am today. Two years now also founder @lyonsrunclub where I am proud to serve as president and founder. That experience has been equally amazing. Running has become an important part of my mental health and personal well-being. I am grateful for the running community and for everyone I have met along the way—many of whom are now close friends. We run, cheer for one another, laugh, have fun, and encourage each other to be ourselves. So far, I have completed two marathons, three half-marathons or more, and many 5K races. As a leader, I am thankful for the opportunity to support people who work hard and strive to reach their goals. Happy six-year running anniversary to me. I have learned so much from this experience, and to everyone who has been part of my journey: you know who you are. Also my family being there me as well Here is to continuing to run, grow, and do it for my mental health and for myself.
