Nothing planned. Just a quiet morning at the beach — one rolling in the sand while the other watched surfers catch waves.

When we moved to Bali six months ago, there were moments I wondered if we were doing the right thing. Leaving behind the familiarity of Singapore and building a whole new life from scratch.

But watching them discover this little life we’ve built here, laugh freely, run barefoot into the ocean, and find magic in places that now feel ordinary to us…

it suddenly hit me.

They’re not just adjusting here — they’re thriving.

They’re becoming more adventurous, more confident, more free — more themselves.

And maybe that’s one of the greatest gifts we could have given them.

Bali, thank you for feeling like home ✨

110 months with you… so I guess we’re kinda serious now 🤭

Feels like I’ve missed more monthiversary posts than I’ve actually kept up with over the past year or two… but s’all good — we’re still here 😬 Growing, learning & building a life that looks so different from what we imagined back then.

I’ve really been loving our Bali life together with the girls, and I’m so soooo proud of you — everything you’ve built for yourself and the life you’re building for us 🥹♥️

Our version of a new year (for now) 🥰♥️
Quieter. Different. But ours.

Disclaimer: These were not taken during Chinese New Year! This was during our melaspas ceremony — a blessing and cleansing ceremony of our new home. Just us, standing in this space that still feels new, but already holds so much of us, setting intentions for the life we’re building here. 🏡💕

This year’s CNY looks a little different — no big family dinners or usual traditions. Just the four of us, finding our rhythm, learning our new routines, and slowly turning this house into our home.

My momma, papa and brothers @gavin_khariot @nigeltofu are coming to Bali next week to celebrate with us here though, and I honestly can’t wait. I know that’s when it’ll really feel like Chinese New Year! 🧧🍊🥠🧨

For now;
A new home.
A new rhythm.
A new beginning, in more ways than one.

It may look different this year, but it feels right and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

our past 2 months in Bali… in 20 slides 🌴♥️

i know i went a little MIA - i’m sorry! 😩

life here got full.
full in the best way.
full in the overwhelming way.
full in the “how is it already 10pm and I haven’t replied anyone” way.

between moving countries, kids adjusting, running businesses across borders, building new things, managing home, ceremonies, meltdowns (mine included 😂), and trying to actually be present… something had to give. and it was instagram.

not because i didn’t want to share — i genuinely just had no spare time.

we’re still adjusting. still building. still figuring it out.

this carousel is messy and random because that’s exactly what the last 2 months felt like. beautiful. raw. a little blurry very real.

i’m hoping to share more again — the highs, the chaos, the in-betweens.

if you’ve been here quietly waiting for updates… thank you for sticking around 🥹♥️

Our first three weeks in Bali 🌿☀️

Life lately — getting settled into our new home, organising corners, making it feel like ours.
New routines, new rhythms, and a whole lot of figuring things out as we go.

Luna starting at a new school, endless swim time, soaking up the sun, exploring, meeting friends, and spending so much of our days outdoors.
Slow mornings, busy days, sandy feet, sun-kissed skin, and hearts that feel very full.

Still settling, still adjusting, but already so grateful for this chapter and everything it’s teaching us. 🥹♥️

We’ve got something to share — we’re relocating to Bali! 🌴☀️😬

It feels so surreal to finally say it.
After a year of travelling, reflecting, and feeling our way through different seasons and different places… Bali just felt more like home than anywhere else.✨

The island gave us slowness, space, softness, soooo much fun — and the kind of calm we didn’t even know we needed.
The girls love it there.
We felt more connected as a couple.
Our family had more time together… the good, silly, wholesome kind of time. 🥲

We breathed deeper.
Life felt simple again.

So after months of conversations and heart checks, we finally made the decision to relocate. We’ll be leaving Singapore in just two days! ✈️

To our close friends and family — I’m so, so sorry if we haven’t been able to tell everyone personally or catch up before the move. This season has been incredibly hectic, and everything happened a lot faster than we expected. But we’ll be back very soon, and we hope to see all your lovely faces when we’re home again. 😙♥️

We’ll still have our home here, and Yoan and I will be in between cities — so we’ll be back often (very often 😬).
And I’ll still be running Warrior Studios remotely with a tiny upgrade in how we operate 😏

But for now… this next chapter begins in Bali. Here’s to the new! 🥰

I somehow missed posting the last 3–4 monthiversaries because life has been life-ing so hard this year.

But looking back at these moments — the silly ones, the mostly tipsy ones, the celebrations, the traveling, the parenting chaos, the quiet mornings — I’m reminded again of how far we’ve come together. 🥹

2025 stretched us, softened us, tested us, and grew us.
And through all of it, you’ve been my constant.
