ain’t nothing you could really tell me

Things were different. We did what we wanted, and sought out our truths. The water dripping further down gave a ghastly appearance of someone else, but it wasn’t you. Couldn’t be you. Why would YOU be here? I decided to brush aside the thought, and let the faint hum of the broken lights be my escort.

“.. i get that we weren’t exactly together all the time but we connected as much as we could from a distance until we started falling apart. Trying to pick myself up off the ground is the hardest when you aren’t around in times like this. I can take care of myself just fine, you know but I can literally feel you slipping away. Im grateful for the music cause your voice lingers around.. our relationship is something pure and i won’t get descriptive, just know what we have for each other is addictive.. be it in front of the vending machine or in the book store poetry aisle, I opened my heart plenty of times and you walked in and out willingly. i know you’re more at ease now that i ain’t coming at ur short ass or falling asleep on you :) i just wish i could see your smile.. i keep thinking and i can’t figure this all out. Or more so that i don’t want to come to those conclusions when they aren’t true. Life can be overwhelming as hellll. it can really put a strain on who you’re intimate with… and we fucking burned apart. because of this I’ve learned that as long as you got your morals, family, friends & help others when you can you will be ok and blessings will continue to come to you. we don’t need love even though we craved it for so long from one another… when you read these messages hit me & maybe we can link by the park close to your house or something…”

i just wanna sort this out

“.. are you going to answer? not going to sit here and assume how you feel right now because i already know you’re annoyed and avoiding my messages, I get it, u gave me another chance again and i fucked up. I definitely failed you because for you to have felt like I disregarded you and what you told me makes me realize that I wasn’t being as careful as I should have been with us.. or your feelings. i want you to know that Im fucking sorry for the stress and tension I put you through and for not being more of a friend to you when it came to just being there for you and seeing you through with the things you wanted to accomplish for yourself.
youre one of the only few i cant afford to lose.
