It’s a cold & rainy weekend here in Durham. What better time to drop our new fall menu? Chef @preetiwaas is bringing back some warm and cozy favorites, as well as new regional dishes. Read on for more:

For a new, protein-heavy, a la carte offering, we’re debuting our version of the traditional oven-roasted half-chicken. We let ours poach in ghee overnight, roast it in a tandoori oven & slather it in Goan recheado sauce for a vinegary and peppery finish. Preeti recently collaborated with @cheflukeowens up at @nativefinediner, and after trying their Poulet Rouge, she was inspired to bring something similar to Cheeni’s kitchen, with a regional Indian twist.

We think it’s the perfect accompaniment to our new 3 for 30 chhota khana & chaat, or as a part of a family-style meal. A bottle of wine, a cocktail from The Bar Beej, some naan…you’re set.

As this roast takes two days to prepare, daily counts are limited.

Come try for yourself— we’d love to feed you, and yours. Open from 5-9 PM, Monday - Thursday, and 4-10 PM, Friday & Saturday. Dine in or take out! 🐒

If ever there was proof that opposites attract, this is it. The calm to my chaos, the quiet to my hollering, the homebody to my love of being out and about.

Back in 2020, David decided he wanted to spend his birthdays with the Grant Boys, so adding some throw backs from previous birthday adventures with them. Today, we’re celebrating with some new to us places in Raleigh for a lid’l staycation adventure. 🎉
