Holidays Part 1…. My annual holiday party to kick off the season! I had soo much help this year from @j9mcmenamin, @ericaao1, @reesie_mckeon, @lstromie! Y’all really took it up a notch with our pre-made cocktails, Bourbon bar, Hot Holiday punch l, cute labels and delicious apps and snacks! I literally could not have done this without all of you! Also, thank you to Brian for his fire making / hosting skills! (PS You’re all hired for next year!) It’s such a fun way to celebrate the season and show off my absolute joy for decorating the house for friends and family. 🎄

If you need to turn 50, then this is the way to do it! My day started at midnight with a glass of Prosecco with my mama and @j9mcmenamin; I was then surprised with an ice skating party @usnwc with all my fave kids in Charlotte, came home to a surprise day party at my house, with balloons, cookies from @suarezbakery of all my hobbies, yummy eats from @babeandbutcher, 50 roses and the icing on the cake, a surprise visit from my brother, @b.ig.slick, sister in law, @ivorytower24, Aunt Barb @barbara.gambino.146, and my cousins @michelle.bermudez.334 and Marc!! It was such a fun surprise to see them all here at my house! The party continued with a fun dinner party with all my charlotte girls, their hubs and family at @culinarydropout! It was a day and night filled with lots of little and big birthday surprises and so many moments that are sure to be lifelong memories. My mom and @lstromie had a beautiful vision for my birthday and I couldn’t have imagined a better way to welcome in the new decade! ✨5️⃣0️⃣✨

A few minutes before midnight NYE 2021, we got the phone call to rush to the hospital for my Dad. A little after midnight 2022 he passed. To say this year started off in a way that was not the best is an understatement. That being said, it’s also been a year of continuous love and support from these people and a few other friends near and far not pictured. One that I know my father is looking down beaming on the family that I’ve found in my friends, similar to his lifelong friends. When I asked these friends to spend NYE with my mom and I so I could give my mom a better start to the New Year than last, they were in. So although the year started off terribly, it ended with with love, alot of laughter, alot of kid energy, ALOT of noise makers and a few bottles of Veuve. I miss you Dad everyday, but life is pretty sweet right now and am looking forward to a bright 2023. Happy New Year! ✨

Thank you for all of the birthday wishes! It was a tough one without my Dad this year, but all of the sweet pics, videos, notes & texts made it a little sweeter for me. It started with the CUTEST video from Blakely & Breckner Mooney and ended with McKeons surprising me after I came home from walking Dash with a decorated house, birthday cake and sushi! I know my Dad is with me every day and so happy that I have such a loving community surrounding me.
