I am super excited to be part of this publication project and honoured to feature in Ghosts in the Archive Anthology curated by @dashshenz and produced by @unstaged.lab alongside so many talented artists.

UNSTAGED Anthology Vol. 2: Remembered is now available. Secure your copy through the link in bio.

My gratitude goes to Dashen Zhang, whose diligence and artistic vision as guest curator shaped this volume.

This journey has proven immensely rewarding, anchored by the intellectual rigor of creative communion. Thereby, many thanks to the visual thinkers who breathed life into these pages:

Chiara Benzi, Barbara Diener, Friderike Heuer, Olga Kim, Lagos Studio Archives, Shanna Merola, Hélène Mutter, Adeline Praud, Anna Sellen, Alessandro Silverj, Klara Kusa.

The selections shown here provide merely a fragment of each photographer’s wider project.

📖 I’m so pleased to share that “After the Table” is included in Vol. 2 of UNSTAGED Ghosts in the Archive trilogy curated by @dashshenz

✦

In this photographic series I explore the death rituals of my culture and the ways it engages with loss, while navigating different geographies and time periods.

Some photographs carry through time not only the traces of once‑living faces, but a particular aura that existed between them, a certain enigma, the riddle of a family secret that these silent witnesses have taken with them forever.

Time Fossils is a retrospective mini series that brings together and distils my investigation of archival spectrality over the last 10 years, via a selection of ghostly trees.

It has now been published as part of a fabulous new anthology photobook by @unstaged.lab called Ghosts in the Archive. Curated by @dashshenz, the first volume, Reimagined, is available now from Unstaged.lab
