POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🔝3️⃣ - Received a text yesterday evening from the Times Leader while on a walk. Initially though it was spam but called the number they gave. Turns out, it was actually the Times Leader, and they told me that Louie The XIII (OVDJ) has made top three for DJ Services!

I am so overwhelmed with positive emotions because music and connecting people through frequency mean the world to me. Music is the invisible fabric that binds us all. I’m blessed and thankful to play music for any occasion because every day is a celebration of life, love and opportunity.

Being in the BOTOV top three has solidified to me that if you have passion and dedication for your craft you will make a difference in your community. This acknowledgment is simply spectacular! The OV has my back and I have theirs! My mission is to inspire positivity through music plus spread knowledge and joy.

I want to take time to acknowledge and thank people that made top three a reality.

First off, my lovely wife, Erica. She has been creating media for me since the beginning of the OVDJ. Every flyer, artist promotion, website, and so much more has been meticulously and lovingly created by her. She is also my partner in vibes on stage. She goes above and beyond!

Next, my amazing friends Anthony (Lightz) and his girlfriend Rebbecca. For the past four years these two have been responsible for setting up the lighting and decorating the stage. Also helping with stage management, technical problems and loading. They bring new sets and vibes to the stage every show. Their dedication to the celebration is admirable!

Also want to thank my mom and dad! They have been supporting me since birth. Without them I wouldn’t have the love and dedication for my community or my love for music. Specifically, I want to thank my mom for always giving me a space the practice my music. Then my dad for providing me a place to play my music and bringing the OVDJ Campout to life!

Finally,
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT VOTED FOR ME!

Even more importantly, THANK YOU so much to everyone THAT BELIEVES IN ME AND CONTINUALLY SUPPORTS THE DREAM - OVDJ!!!!

Much love EVERYONE,
-Louie The XIII

🚨 TROUPE SPOTLIGHT 🚨

🔥 UNTAMED FLAMES 🔥

Untamed Flames is a passionate fire and LED performance troupe from Ohio, built around one simple belief: flow arts are even better when they are shared.

Led by WyldeChild, InkyBoi, JerBear, The Law SweetPea, and Loco Los, Untamed brings together artists with different backgrounds, styles, personalities, and levels of experience. Some members have years of experience performing and teaching, while others are newer to the flow community and are still discovering their own strengths and style. That range is one of the things that makes Untamed special.

Be sure to catch the multiple workshops members of Untamed Flames will be offering!

And don’t forget to snag your tickets while you still can! 💜

Year number 2 for @summerofsinsfest was one for the books. 🥹

I’ve finally had a moment to sit down and take it all in, especially after catching up on sleep because 14 hours last week was causing me to become very delusional (& oddly emotional). 😂

Thank you @hylyte for trusting me with your vision. Building something like this back home has always been one of our aligned goals since we began working together, and watching it continue to grow is really fucking special.

@christinacoughlin & @richregal740 , thank you for always taking time for me since year 1. There were so many times I could turn to you both whether I needed a soundboard or a solution. Having people I can trust like that when there are a million things happening at once means more than you know.

@ashhleyyoder and @officialtoof , without you both the days leading up to and during the festival my brain genuinely would have exploded. You both stepped up in so many ways without being asked and took things off my plate without me having to ask.

To our entire team, the countless hours leading up to the festival and throughout the weekend did not go unnoticed nor under appreciated. There is SO much that goes into making this happen that nobody ever sees, and I hope you all know how grateful I am for every single one of you.

And to the rest of our village of family, friends and volunteers, I truly can’t imagine what we would have done without you all. Having people who continue to show up for us and believe in what we’re building is something I’ll never take for granted.

Diana, Kelly, Michelle, Mike, Ashley, Melayna, Monica, Jess, Brian, Cody, Colton, Ty, Jazzy + her twin, Melanie, Stephanie, our entire production team, LCS Security, all of the vendors, artists + crews, and so many more names I’m missing.

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY THE FANS!! THANK YOUUU!! Without each and every one of you, Summer of Sins would not exist.

✨💜 Congratulations Mr. & Mrs Howell Savage 💜✨

Truly an honor to be a part of your special day!

💜 Love was in the air 💜

The track playing on this post was their 1st burn track. A unique “spin” on couples’ 1st dance.

Massive thank you to everyone that made this wedding possible. What a beautiful ceremony and reception. Also, that bbq chicken was NEXT LEVEL!

Much love to @jess.savage0223 and @carlos.how! You two are amazing souls. Looking forward to see what you two accomplish together.

Also much love, appreciation and shout out to @untamedflames.llc! You all are beyond awesome and go above and beyond for love!

Plus thank you so much to @energywitherica, @anthonybruce62 and @rebbeccavandevender for your teamwork to make the sound and lighting production of this wedding so memorable. 💜

Some snips from our @untamedflames.llc show at @kavaculturealliance

Using my big boi fire doubles from @estrangedpropshop , absolutely killer build by @eagles_fire_arts ! 🔥

They’re 26” with 3” monkey fists so they throw big fire even during the daytime 🤩 Fr the only prop I use gloves with bc they’re just so spicy 🥵 But imo 26-28” is the perfect length for all the tech fun, and they’re weighted great for tosses!

Customize your own and use my code #THELAW to save some bucks!
