You all put in a RECORD BREAKING number of applications, WHEW!

What's next? Our community curation panel gets to reading! We bring in former artists, curators, and fantastic people from around our region to sift through your brilliant proposals and decide what is the most cutting-edge, timely, and interesting pieces to present.

We'll be informing artists of the panel's decision in mid-March and announcing the full line-up in April.

We will be performing with @susiesuh on March 23 for the @oldchurchpdx Moon series. See below for more info on this cool experience! Tickets on our linktree!

The Old Church is proud to introduce a series that celebrates intentional healing through sound, ritual, poetry and creative visuals. Each concert in the series is carefully booked to coincide with either the Full or New Moon. The series is a collaboration between musicians / sound healers and other thoughtful artists with the intention of weaving together a magical and memorable experience within the sacred timber of TOC. It is a time to slow down, to soak in the lush sounds, and to open our hearts to the answers that lie within.

✨ Holy moly this is one of the scariest and most vulnerable things I’ve ever done. @untanglethethreads and I experimented with movement to my song, Abalone. This was their first time hearing it. This was such an honor to share this experience with a friend and now, with you. One of my dreams is to do scores and choreography for movement and dance performances and this was such a gift to try this out. This is definitely a year of moving through discomfort into growth and joy for me. (It is definitely kicking my ass). If you want to hear the full song go to link in my bio to my Bandcamp ✨

And just like that, folx. That’s a wrap!

We’d like to extend major congratulations to our 2022 CoHo Residents, Xzavier Beacham, Claire Rigsby, and Morgan Clark-Gaynor on their epic performances with the residency this year.

Xzavier challenged our perceptions of manhood and self-identity through his short film Quinn, Claire explored the ins and outs of mental health using fiber arts through her site-specific piece (un)tangled, and Morgan had our live audience in stitches with their hilarious gameshow exploration of The American Dream.

Interested in becoming a CoHo Resident yourself? Applications for the 2023 CoHo Residency are open now! Apply to be a 2023 Resident and bring your latest work to life on the CoHo stage.

APPLY HERE: https://www.cohoproductions.org/coho-residency/

Hello CoHo Community,

We recently got some feedback that folx have been experiencing technical difficulties when trying to watch Claire Rigsby’s (un)tangled. We’ve done some poking around and have fixed the technical issues, extending the run of this performance by one day.

If you’d like to watch (un)tangled, please purchase a ticket to May 30th. You will receive an email with the link to watch the show and can view all day today and tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience, apologies for any confusion this may have caused. We look forward to seeing you at the virtual show!

With great appreciation,
The CoHo Crew
