- busy December days -

Typical day in the studio.

Good mix of long hair fades and mullets.

Variation in a day keeps me on my toes and keeps the creative side ticking.

- more than a haircut -

Sometimes you get a client that shows up and it becomes more than just cutting his hair.

Alex has been coming to me for well over 4 years now and his life and experiences are inspiring. To see where’s he’s come from to now has been a joy see.

Clients to some can just be another body in the chair. I try my best to build connections with everyone that sits down with me. To learn from their experiences and hopefully take some from mine too.

@ajcroson I appreciate you as a client but more importantly a friend.

- creative cuts -

Great to see so much variety in and around men’s hair. I’m really enjoying being kept on my toes with these different styles.

Long hair, low fades, burst fades, mullets etc all part of my services available.

If it’s cool and suitable I’ll do it.

- grow out curtains / taper -

@ajcroson decided it was time for a change. And it’s worked perfectly. Style really works with Alex’s hair type and keeping the sides clean with a skin taper just completes the look.

Styled with some @slickgorilla lightwork and finishing spray

- key to being successful is the grind -

It’s been over 6 years now since I came back full time to barbering.

A long process with many an up an down. But the one thing that’s been with me from the first day until right now is hard work.

Intially you need it to get started, dragging people in for haircuts persuading them to let you have a go.

Then over time it becomes about the hours, the learning, busy week after busy week. Consistency. All of these things come from hard work.

But it pays to work hard. When that job is what you love the hard work seems easier.

Long may the hard work keep coming.

Always taking on new clients when I can. If your interested drop me a dm or find me on the booking page ⬇️
