Under the lights at the Big House! 🏟️✨
The wait is officially over and Michigan football is back this weekend. We’re kicking things off at 7:30 PM against the Broncos, and the energy in Ann Arbor is going to be unmatched.

Lock in, turn the volume up, and get ready for a new era of dominance. Go Blue!

We loved hosting Doctoral Occupational Therapy students from the University of Minnesota at Handi Medical today for a hands-on rehab equipment lab!

Students explored wheelchairs, pediatric equipment, seating and positioning, measurements, and the coverage/documentation process that supports successful equipment recommendations in clinical practice.

Experiences like this help connect classroom learning with real-world application as the next generation of clinicians prepares to support independence and mobility for the individuals they serve.

Thanks for spending the day with us! 👏

So proud to highlight one of our students for the incredible work she is doing in Alzheimer’s advocacy. On March 10, she attended Alzheimer’s and Dementia Day at the Minnesota Capitol, where advocacy efforts focused on HF1269/SF1998, the Ensure Equitable Access to Treatment bill. This bill addresses a major barrier to care, as insurance companies are not currently required to cover FDA-approved treatments for Alzheimer’s disease, leaving many individuals without access to treatments that can help prolong independence and quality of life.
She also had the honor of speaking at the opening program in the Capitol Rotunda, where she shared her grandparents’ story, talked about her work as a federal ambassador, and encouraged others to continue advocating year round. She met with Rep Luke Frederick, who voices strong support for the bill, and momentum continues to grow with 18 new House co-authors added the following week.
Her advocacy does not stop there. She will also be attending the Alzheimer’s Association DC Forum on June 1 to continue sharing her grandparents’ story and advocating for access to diagnostic blood tests and enhanced dementia training for primary care providers.
…
We are beyond proud to celebrate her passion, leadership, and commitment to making a difference for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease!
