Thrilled to announce my upcoming solo show, Perpetual Care, at the University of South Carolina’s McMaster Gallery in Columbia, SC.

The show highlights my work about motherhood, focusing on the maternal body as a site of sacrifice.

This image is one of three from a series titled, “Feast of Saint Agatha”. These photographs use ancestral garments and Sicilian pastries honoring Saint Agatha. I will continue to post images from this series and others! Follow along and join me in Columbia this fall! ✨🖤

September 9, 2026 - October 16, 2026

Please join us Wednesday, April 15 for the opening of MFA candidate Katy McCormack’s thesis exhibition, Spooky Action at a Distance, in McMaster Gallery.

Spooky Action at a Distance is a photographic and moving image installation that draws on the language of quantum entanglement to examine generational experiences of women in the artist’s family. Through the use of archival photographs, film stills, and experimental darkroom processes, including printing through fabric, the images obscure identities and disrupt narratives. Moving between still and time-based media, the project constructs a cyclical visual narrative.
Reception is from 5:30-7:30 pm with a talk at 6. Light refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there!

Join us on March 5th for the 71st Juried Student Exhibition !

McMaster Gallery is hosting the annual juried student exhibition from February 23rd through March 27, 2026, a tradition that began in 1955. This exhibition provides an exciting opportunity to showcase the wide variety and high quality of artwork created by USC students, as selected by an external juror, and offers an opportunity for students to win awards.
The award show will be on March 5th for selected artists who have achieved Juror Dre Lopez’s choice recognition. These awards include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place undergraduate and graduate winners.

Award recipients will be announced during the Awards Ceremony on Thursday, March 5th, at 5:00 pm at McMaster Gallery.
Please join us to give these students the opportunity to have their work displayed and juried.
