We’re kicking off our 2026 SCORE Baja 1000 Course Recon series in Loreto, roughly halfway through the course.

With many teams planning to begin their pre-running from this area rather than hauling their race trucks all the way down to San José del Cabo, we figured it made sense to start here.

Join @wesmiller70 as we take a closer look at course conditions, challenging sections, and what racers can expect along the way. 🏁

This year’s @upfitutv BAJA 1000 course recon with @wesmiller70 is shaping up to be quite a ride.

A series of storms has left significant damage across parts of the Baja peninsula, with washed-out roads, erosion, and challenging terrain adding another layer of complexity to an already demanding route.

Wes will be taking us out on the course for a firsthand look at current conditions, the obstacles racers can expect, and what teams should be paying close attention to as they prepare for November’s race.

Baja is constantly changing, and this year is no exception. Stay tuned for the full recon! 🏁
