October 15th - this date was once synonymous as the first day of college basketball practice. Each year this day brings back so many memories and an excitement! I was a part of teams at the college level for 14 years in 5 programs. I had many titles during that time in this order- player, student manager, player, assistant coach, graduate student manager, assistant coach, and head coach. Here I share photos from those athletic centers and arenas that I once called home.

I am grateful for the journey that took me to these places, the friendships created, and the dreams achieved.

EJ Scott is a dynamic 6’2” Combo Guard in the Class of 2028 from Fort Hill High School (MD) who brings a high-level combination of athleticism, basketball IQ, and relentless competitiveness to the court.

EJ is a true two-way guard who impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he can create his own shot, attack the rim with confidence, score from all three levels, and make the right reads as a playmaker. Defensively, he takes pride in guarding the opponent’s best perimeter player, using his length, quickness, and toughness to disrupt offenses.

Beyond his talent, EJ separates himself with his work ethic and character. He is committed to year-round development, embraces coaching, and consistently demonstrates leadership both on and off the court. In the classroom, he maintains a 4.1 GPA, proving he is as dedicated academically as he is athletically.

As he continues to develop physically and refine his game, EJ has the tools and mindset to become an impact player at the collegiate level. College coaches looking for a coachable, high-character guard who values winning, competes every possession, and excels in the classroom should keep a close eye on EJ Scott.
