The ultimate side quest: Alpha Wars

CrossFit has never failed to kick my butt, but shits and giggles got the best of me. I wouldn’t have wanted to sparkle with anyone other than @uplift_coaching_. We took 4th overall, and first in the floater workout, finishing at a minute 15 seconds. (Swipe to see how we ended)

Workout 1: 800m partner run, 100 split wall balls, 200m swim (thank god for Jo), and 1000m row

Workout 2: 60-40-20 split ring rows, 30-20-10 burpees, and max clean & jerks

Workout 3: 4 EMOM rounds, 9-11-13-15 of Ski Erg Cals, box jump overs, and bb snatches

Floater: 30 cal bike, 20 70lb sandbag cleans

Workout 4: 300 split jump rope singles, 3 split rounds of 25 dumbbell bench press, 25 hanging leg raises, and 30 synchro dumbbell thrusters

We are the peace & the fire 🤍🔥

Hope all you mommas were spoiled and cherished this Mother’s Day. We are the peace, the joy, the calm in the chaos… and when needed, the wind, the waves, and the fire. We love deeply, protect fiercely, and carry more strength than words can hold.

Motherhood will unveil a strength in you the world could never teach. A softness that nurtures, and a fierceness that protects what matters most.

You may not get daily applause, but your fruit is in the joy your children carry…the little giggles, the safety they feel in your arms, and the light they carry because of your love.

I don’t really talk much about the struggles we’ve gone through. Especially when they’re happening. Very few people understand what it was like to have a baby in 2020. People not expressing joy when you tell them. Saying things like “you’re having a baby right now”. Bringing him into a world so strange and unknown. Today our little covid baby got an award for trail blazer of the quarter at his school for showing leadership, drive and teamwork. He moved half way across the country this summer and started school for the first time and he is thriving. I am so proud of our little Axel River

The Alpha Conditioning workout this Saturday will be an awesome opportunity to progress your pushups and build your cardio endurance.

If full push-ups feel out of reach, band-assisted variations are a game changer.
Here’s why I use them with athletes:
✨ Better Form: The band helps unload just enough weight so you can hit full range without sagging hips or flared elbows.
✨ Strength Progression: You build strength in the exact movement pattern you’re working toward. It bridges the gap between knees → full push-ups.
✨ Confidence Boost: Nothing beats feeling your body do the real movement. The win builds momentum.
✨ More Reps, Better Practice: More clean reps = faster results.

If you’re chasing your first push-up, don’t skip this tool.

Smart training > ego reps every time

Join Jo for a fun & effective Alpha Conditioning workout on Saturday, November 22 & 29 at 10AM!

Too good not to share… thanks Jo, both for doing what you do and for sharing that with us too💪

She’s right… coaching is a tough gig, but people who get into it want to help their people. Coaches are special people 🙌

Posted @withregram • @uplift_coaching_ "How are you always so happy all the time (at work)?" A client asked me one day.

I explained to her that I'm not happy all the time, not even close. I genuinely love what I do.

Coaching is not an easy profession, in fact, fitness can be a grind of an industry to be in. I love it.

I'm here to lift others up, but there's certainly days when I'm not feeling it. But a few minutes into a session, it's my client that lifts me up. They show up. They get stronger. They make it happen. The power of their perseverance is contagious.

Cheers to all my clients over the years, thank you.

You are amazing, and I love y'all.

I’ll be up there with @lady__lifter! Very excited for it 💪

Gearing up to watch some strong ladies lift this weekend at the @usaplmaine Carrie Boudreau Big Pull-ooza so I thought I’d share some competition day nutrition tips.

This meet is in memory of Carrie, an incredibly strong Mainer who was the first woman to ever pull 4X her bodyweight. 😳 (491 @ 119)
I never has the pleasure of meeting her, but I can imagine she’s excited for this weekend, too. ❤️
