Thank you AAU

Before I say anything else, I want to thank God. Without Him, none of this would have been possible. Every opportunity, every lesson, every challenge, and every blessing has helped shape me into the person and player I am today.

As I stand here, it’s honestly hard to believe that my AAU journey has come to an end. It feels like just yesterday I was stepping onto the court, nervous but excited, not knowing where this game would take me. Now, here I am getting ready for my senior year, and it’s emotional knowing this chapter is over.

To my coaches, thank you. Thank you for believing in me when I didn’t always believe in myself. Thank you for pushing me on the days I wanted to give up, for correcting me when I needed it, and for celebrating every little bit of growth along the way. You didn’t just help me become a better basketball player, you helped me become a stronger, more confident young woman. I’ll carry the lessons you’ve taught me for the rest of my life.

This journey wasn’t always easy. There were moments of doubt, disappointment, and obstacles that made me question everything. But basketball taught me to keep fighting, to trust the process, and to never stop believing in myself. Every challenge made me stronger. As I move into my senior year, I know I’m taking so much more than basketball with me. I’m taking lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, lessons about hard work and perseverance, and a family that I’ll always be thankful for.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, prayed for me, believed in me, and cheered me on through every step of this journey. No matter where basketball takes me next, I’ll never forget where it all started or the people who helped me get here.

This may be the end of my AAU career, but it’s not the end of my story. It’s the beginning of a new chapter, and I’ll continue to work hard, stay humble, and make all of you proud.
