Cover me in sunshine 💜

Some gifts are more than just things…
they’re memories, love, and pieces of your heart wrapped into one.

Seeing Sadie’s sweet smile on this blanket means everything to me. I’ll hold onto this forever.

To my amazing friends—thank you for such a thoughtful, beautiful gift. I love you all 💜

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Your generosity, your messages, and the memorial gift for Sadie mean more than words can truly say. In one of the hardest seasons of my life, you showed up with love, compassion, and kindness I will never forget.

Because of you, I’ll carry a piece of her with me forever, That is such a beautiful gift.

I’m forever grateful for this space and for the way you’ve loved my girls. 🤍🐾

Hey everyone we still could use some help. Sorry to keep begging.
I just picked the Tahoe up from the shop and now have to figure out how to come up with that $300. They had to replace the brake line and also the power steering line
Bacon goes back to the vet next Friday to have her right eye looked at. I loveBacon with all my heart and would do anything for her but my disability just isn’t going far enough. January is the worst month for bills. I really don’t want Bacon to go blind

Hi everyone we have been Asked alot of questions about Pannus so mom thought I needed to do a post on it. So here it is
Pannus also known as chronic superficial keratitis (CSK) is a autoimmune disease that affects a dogs cornea, the clear outer layer of the eye. It’s a progressive lifelong condition that can cause vision impairment or blindness left untreated
*Symptoms: a pink mass appears on the cornea usually in the outer side. The mass flattens and darkens as the disease progresses and the cornea becomes scarred. The third eyelid may also appear inflamed and thickened
*Breeds affected: German Shepherd and mixes Belgian Tervurens, Botder Collies, Greyhounds, Rhodesian Ridgeback and Siberian Huskies are more likely to develop Pannus
*Causes; Thought to be hereditary and triggered by environmental factors like UV light exposure, high altitudes and air pollution
*Treatment: NO cure exists but early detection and treatment can help manage the disease and allow dogs to live comfortably
So please everyone look at your dogs eyes and if they don’t look right please go and get them checked. We won’t know for sure if they caught it soon enough in Bacon
Thanks everyone from all of us @upnorthrecipes and us
