I think I’ve just found my new favourite date night spot !!!

@upperdeckchristchurch is my absolute favourite restaurant I’ve visited in a while. We had a delicious 3 course meal with one of the best French 75 cocktails I’ve ever tried.

AD | One day 7 years ago I made a random decision to move down here and I’ve never looked back.

I ventured out to the Harbour Hotel in Christchurch to have lunch on the Upper Deck Restaurant. You can choose from a two or three course menu. And honestly, the vibes here were immaculate the perfect destination to spend for a special date or catching up with friends and family. I also packed my trainers in the car and went for a lovely walk along the beach afterwards to work off the sticky toffee pudding 🤭❤️🙈

The outside seating area has the most stunning sea views, with a cosy restaurant inside and a proper bar for cocktails. If you’re heading down, their new set menu or the à la carte are both worth it.

Technically just over the Hampshire border but it’s only just over and definitely worth knowing about, especially when you’ve got views like these 👀

We begun with a couple of cocktails, the Jimi and the Harbour Sunset and both were absolutely divine🍸 The perfect way to settle in and take in those views before lunch. We enjoyed the set lunch menu, which is 3 courses for £35, available Monday–Saturday, 12–2.15pm.

We had to share some bread and olives because, of course, is there a better combo? 😋 Then came the starters, crab benedict and Alex's twice baked cheese soufflé. Both were so sumptuous and absolutely delicious. For mains, we went for the sea bream, which was cooked to absolute perfection. I could easily have eaten another portion it was THAT good! The partridge was also stunning. It’s not a meat you often see on menus, so we had to try it, and I’d definitely have it again 😍

To finish, obviously we had to go for the sticky toffee pudding and just look at that ratio of sauce to sponge! That’s exactly how it should be👌🏻

A wonderful afternoon spent at @upperdeckchristchurch with incredible food, divine cocktails and those views. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back 🤍

AD || Recently I was invited to lunch at @upperdeckchristchurch at @harbour_hotels ,so obviously @_beingtasha_ and I went and made a birthday lunch of it. And honestly, with the sun out, champagne for me, rosé for her and that view, it felt a lot more holiday than Hampshire for a minute. ☀️

We both started with the prawn & crayfish cocktail, then I had the wild mushroom risotto with parmesan and truffle, while Tash went for the grilled sea bream with crushed potatoes, wilted spinach and butter sauce.

The food was genuinely lovely. My risotto was so good, Tash was very happy with the bream, and at that point we were both feeling pretty pleased with our life choices. 😂

And because obviously we were never not ordering dessert, I had the apple & blackberry cheesecake and Tasha went for the chocolate brownie sundae.

Sunshine, good food, champagne, birthday girl, lovely view. More of this please. 🥂☀️

Come to lunch with me at Upper Deck, located within Christchurch Harbour Hotel ✨

The most beautiful setting for a long, leisurely lunch, with gorgeous interiors, stunning harbour views and food that tastes as good as it looks.

We enjoyed their 3-course lunch menu for just £35, and honestly, it’s such a lovely spot for a catch-up, special occasion or just an excuse to make lunchtime feel a little more special. 🥂✨

Never hungry, priorities first and then a pretty outfit ♥️

We started with pineapple margaritas, and espresso martinis followed by grilled scallops, truffle arancini, tomatoes & burrata, surf & turf, chicken, prawns and lobster, with truffle & Parmesan fries, of course.

Finished with piña colada baked Alaska and a trio of desserts.
