Thousands of miles, endless dust, punishing terrain and the relentless heat of the Sahara.

Because a proper build isn’t proven in the workshop. It’s proven out there.

Fitted the new @uproar4x4 grille with the lights to my land rover Defender 90 - now fully wired in! 🤌🏼 💡

My 23 year old Land Rover Defender is looking really good now with half the front end done 🤌🏼

The new freshly painted @uproar4x4 Grille with integrated @lazerlamps fits the front end perfect and it’s now all wired in to a redundant switch from its previous life (coast guard patrol for Canterbury city council 🇬🇧)

Next step is to show you what I’ve got for the bumper! It’s one I’ve never fitted before and I think it will finish it off well 👌🏻

Your sign to buy that sound deadening 🤫

Wowoowwww after driving 4226 miles in two weeks I can assure you @noisekillersltd is worth it. Sound deadening was always on the list to upgrade but when I signed up to drive to Africa it became a priority.
Defenders are noisy, we all know that & they’ll never be quiet but just turning the volume down a little has made a huge difference.
I went for the under bonnet kit and the cab kit from @noisekillersltd and I can’t recommend enough.
Added bonus the cab kit fits under the @exmoortrim footwell matting too!!

There is so much choice putting together the front end of a Defender but I’m excited to see this one come together on my 23 year old Land Rover Defender 90 rebuild 🛠️

The new Grille from @uproar4x4 is now back from the paint shop finished in Faroe Green 🤌🏼

Looking forward to getting this fitted and wired up with the @lazerlamps sitting underneath it 💡 💡

Come with me to the paint shop to visit the Land Rover defender we are building together here on the channel 📺

This was a really straight and structurally sound Puma defender 90 I bought a few weeks ago and now the underside is sorted we are moving on the the body

You guys have inspired me to go for a full bodywork overhaul and respray in a new colour and I can’t wait to see how it comes out 🎨

The guys at Paint Monkeys are flying through it with the doors going in primer today and the rest of the body being repaired and sorted before the full respray begins

I wanted this project to be more of a realistic one that anyone can do rather than my Octa Green Defender that is a full rebuild 🛠️

Speaking of which I also collected my newly sprayed @uproar4x4 grille and will be getting that on that defender soon!

Upgraded the suspension before Morocco 🇲🇦

I went with @bilstein B60 shocks and @tf4x4 standard springs all around front and back.

And believe me they were tested in the Dunes of the Sahara 😮‍💨
