Would you choose a material without seeing, touching and feeling it first? Read the full caption ⤵️

AI can be a valuable part of the creative process. But our sensitivity, experience and judgment are what really turn the vision into a home.

The softness of a fabric. The weight and texture of a curtain. The warmth of wood. The way natural light changes a finish or fabric throughout the day.

These details cannot be fully understood through a screen. They need to be seen, touched and experienced.

An interior designer knows how to compare materials and consider how they will feel, perform and work together within your home. Every choice is shaped by the space, the light and the way you live.

Because a beautiful interior is not only something you see. It is something you feel.

What do you think? Would you make a decision without seeing, touching and feeling the fabric or finish?

Le noir. L’or.

Design notes from Copenhagen by Upscale Interiors; Part 1.

From rich walnut and burgundy tones to Japanese inspired interiors, this first edit is all about spaces that feel warm, layered and deeply considered.

At @3daysofdesign , Phaedra and Carina noticed a softer direction emerging: rooms with depth, colour and personality, but still a sense of calm.

A few details that caught our eye:
- colour-drenched spaces where curtains and walls share the same tones
- rich patterns in warm pink-to-brown & earthy palettes
- refined craftsmanship
- Japandi Scandi atmosphere
- elevated flower arrangements
& playful art moments that make any open space or room feel collected rather than styled.

Save this for your next interior moodboard inspiration and stay tuned for Part 2.

The office you didn’t know you needed.

This home office interior design proves that productivity and atmosphere don’t have to compete. Warm wood paneling, custom-built shelving, integrated lighting, and soft textures come together to create a workspace that feels calm, focused, and deeply personal. Designed to support daily routines while elevating the experience of working from home, every detail balances function with refined aesthetics.

At the heart of this interior design project is thoughtful spatial planning—tailored storage, a sculptural desk, and layered lighting that adapts from day to night. The result is a home office that blends seamlessly into the overall interior concept, proving that workspaces can feel just as considered as living areas.

Because great interior design doesn’t stop at living rooms—it shapes how you work, think, and create.

Designing a home office that inspires ✨

This custom-designed workspace combines natural light, warm wood, and soft textures to create a productive yet inviting corner inside the apartment.

A curved wooden desk paired with a comfortable upholstered chair provides both function and elegance. Floor-to-ceiling curtains frame the large window, balancing daylight and privacy, while a sculptural ceramic vase and brass desk lamp add decorative touches.

This home office is part of our latest interior design project in Zürich — proving that even a compact space can become a stylish, functional retreat for work and creativity.
