🌳 Hazardous Ash Tree Safely Dismantled Using Specialist Equipment

Following a detailed site survey, a hazardous Ash tree affected by Ash Dieback and Dryad’s Saddle fungus was identified on site.

Due to the condition of the tree, it posed a potential risk to the building and operators working nearby, requiring careful planning and a specialist approach to safely remove the hazard.

Working alongside Upton Tree Specialists and using our field team’s Magni, the tree was dismantled entirely from ground level. This removed the need for climbing and allowed each section to be carefully controlled throughout the operation.

A challenging dismantle that required precision, experience and the right specialist equipment … safely and efficiently delivered by the teams involved. 💪🌳

Another hazardous tree safely managed from the ground using specialist machinery.

🌳 Cypress Removal 🌳

The team completed the removal of this condemned Cypress tree due to over 50% of the crown being dead and major defects picked up on a recent survey. From gaining TPO planning consent for its removal to completing the careful section felling of the tree, the team oversaw the whole process from start to finish.

Big thanks to @uptontrees for assisting with timber extraction and everyone involved in ensuring everything went to plan.

Here’s our arborist team in action at Budds Farm, with Jake and Stewart leading the work on site, supporting Southern Water in Havant with the safe removal of ash dieback-affected trees.

Our trusted supply chain partner, @uptontreeservices supplied their Magni crane with operators to make the process safer and more efficient. Using advanced machine methods, we’re able to carry out complex works efficiently, safely, and with minimal disruption.

As professional arborists, we specialise in large-scale tree works, site clearance, vegetation management, and ongoing commercial land maintenance - all delivered by an experienced team with the right equipment for the job.

We are excited to share that we collected and recycled over 1000 Christmas trees earlier this month, helping to reduce 13,600kg of CO2 and enabling us to provide essential well-being services to our patients!🌲

The money raised through our tree collections will fund 1200 virtual exercise and well-being sessions, led by our Occupational Therapists. These sessions play a crucial role in helping patients maintain an active lifestyle, stay connected with others, and improve their mental and physical health.

This would not have been possible without the incredible support of local businesses and our extraordinary team of volunteers who collected the trees, hosted a chipping hub or provided a vehicle!🌻
