𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 is a ceremonial event and finissage for Elina Nissinen’s solo exhibition 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘢𝘫𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘶 (15–31 August). The evening features a wine-pouring ceremony alongside three musical acts. The Pouring draws from the Dionysian concepts of intoxication and decadence, present in the hunajakuu exhibition. Simultaneously, the event is roused by the site of Vaasankatu, where Lou is located. Having retained its defining character for a century, the street continues to be soaked with memories of 20th-century illegal liquor trade and working-class camaraderie. The Pouring is curated by Earthbound Lovers at the invitation of Lou’s curator Remi Vesala. The event is part of @galleryweekfinland
