who are the masterminds behind the curtain? The freaks under the circus tent? The weirdos weaving the webs of wonder that is HOT MILK?

Meat the Band >><<

Hannah "hank" Horser - cofounder, lead guitar, and known for their overgrown allegories that not only nurture but also deeply confuse the artistic direction of the band

Drew "no its not short for andrew" Sencabaugh - cofounder, rhythm guitar, lead vocals and the wiggliest worm in the chicken coop

Collin "sleepy lil guy" Demos - first and last bassist and always wants to know "Asheville, whassupppp?"

Alex Henrí Garand (pronounced frenchly) - synth player with a dizzy-eyed twinkle never before seen in this CENTURY

Al "smoke em if you got em" Letizia - the drums aka the bedazzled heartbeat and uncalled-for cowbelle of the ball

Now you know! So dont say I didnt warn ya!

The audition window for Crescent Choir’s spring season is open a little longer, through March 31st.

A few folks have reached out needing more time to get clear on their spring schedules, and that makes sense. So we’re holding the door open one more week.

If you’ve been sitting with it, this is your nudge.

Crescent Choir brings original songs by local Asheville-area artists, across genre, across style, into collective choral performance. Last season’s show was something special and the music really shone through. We’re building on that.

Rehearsals are Monday evenings, with an optional shared meal beforehand. It’s rigorous and it’s warm, the folks involved show up with a lot of heart and are ready to work.

Song submissions close March 24th, if you have original music you’d like considered, that deadline holds.

Audition info + link in bio.
