Ornaments out now everywhere! ✨

Radio Juicy is happy to present “Ornaments”, a 5-track EP by Softy. Featuring a special collaboration with Osamu Fukuzawa on the fifth and final track, the project drifts through smooth piano lines, organic drums, and cozy lofi textures, creating a calm and warm atmosphere from start to finish. Each track adds its own small detail, coming together as a collection made for quiet moments and late-night listening.

For more info, check our bio!

Huge shoutout to Pedro for the beautiful artwork and illustration of the project and Alex for the animation. ❤️

Big thanks to Apple Music for adding “Ornaments” to their “Lofi Jazz” playlist, and to Spotify for featuring the EP on their “Jazz Vibes” and “Jazzy Beats” playlists. 🙏

✨ Quiet Hours — the new album by KOHEI YOSHII

The track featured in this video, “Komorebi Fish,” was the very first song I made when I started creating chill beats.
I originally produced it in the fall of 2020, remixed it in 2021, and quietly uploaded it to SoundCloud.
It’s always held a special place in my heart, and the way it sounds really taps into my sentimental side.

This time, I rearranged a few notes and was finally able to officially release it with a new mix.

Thanks to Urban Waves❤️

LP produced by FloFilz & Pawcut

Face A : tracks 1-10 by FloFilz

@flofilz is a prominent German producer and DJ known for blending jazz, soul, and old-school hip-hop beats. Based in Berlin, he has gained international recognition with over 200 million streams, collaborating with artists like Tom Misch, MF DOOM, and Alfa Mist. A classically trained violinist, he began producing in 2012, releasing albums via Melting Pot Music and Jakarta Records.

Born in Germany and raised partly in Belgium, FloFilz was exposed to music early by his parents, both musicians. He played the violin from age four and in orchestras before transitioning to beatmaking.

Since releasing his first solo Album „Metronom“ via Melting Pot Music in 2014, followed by „Cenàrio“ in 2016, FloFilz has been to many places and spaces. He finished his master degree in music, released the album "Speakthru" on Jakarta Records and traveled the world with his music. From Germany's premier hip-hop festival "Splash" to "Le Mellotron" in Paris" to "Boiler Room" and „Jazz Café“ in London, his beats are cherished by hip-hop and jazz lovers worldwide. He has worked with international artists like Tom Misch, Rejjie Snow, Blu, wun two and Ivan Ave and is now in the process of producing his next solo release.

Face B : tracks 12-20 by Pawcut

@pawcut is a samplebased producer and engineer from Germany who dropped his first releases in 2012. Eversince then he has been one of the most profilic producers in Germany, dropping projects with vocalists from all over the world as well as instrumental concept and remix projects. Pawcut isnt easy to predict, compare or describe but although paying no attention to trends and waves in the beatscene – easy to recognize. Years of struggling with hisself to create an own form brought a certain style to light. A dusty slow melange of breaks and samples drenched in blood, sweat & tears that makes it easy to tell you are listening to a Pawcut track.

A Guide to Exploring Tō-ji Temple in Kyoto, Japan

Toji Temple: A Quick Guide
Overview: Founded in 796, Toji Temple (東寺) is the oldest temple in Kyoto and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It serves as the headquarters of the Toji Shingon sect of Buddhism.

The Five-Storied Pagoda (Kondo): Standing at approximately 55 meters, it is the tallest wooden tower in Japan and a famous symbol of Kyoto. The current structure was rebuilt in 1644 by Tokugawa Iemitsu.

Kukai (Kobo Daishi): The emperor entrusted the temple to the famous monk Kukai in 823, making it the center of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism.

Highlights:
Kondo Hall: The main hall, featuring a statue of the Yakushi Buddha (Medicine Buddha).
Lecture Hall (Kodo): Houses 21 Buddhist statues arranged to represent the Mandala of Shingon Buddhism.
Treasure House: Contains a vast collection of national treasures and cultural assets.
Location: Situated in the southern part of Kyoto, near Kyoto Station.

Key Tips:
It is particularly beautiful during cherry blossom season, featuring a famous weeping cherry tree known as "Fuji-zakura".
A flea market, locally known as "Kobo-san," is held on the 21st of every month.

The temple is often called "Kyo-o-gokoku-ji" (Temple for the Defense of the Nation by Means of the King of Doctrines).

Jamming a bit to a new song we released today. It’s called “Be Water” and is part of a collection of tracks I (co)wrote and produced over the past year. This EP brings together a huge amount of talent and collaborators, so over the next few days I’d like to take a moment to introduce each song individually.
On this one you can hear exceptional drummer Gianluca doing his thing. Excited to share the rest of the sounds we’ve been working on with you soon.
