I’m starting off the weekend with a watch that proves a good-looking timepiece doesn’t have to cost a lot.

I think that in terms of value for money, Timex has made significant improvements in recent years, especially with its new watches. As a result, for a relatively modest price, you get a good-looking watch from a well-known manufacturer.

I understand that some people might have reservations about the design being derivative. A few models (including this one) draw inspiration from designs familiar from other brands. Other models are reinterpretations of historic Timex models. But that doesn’t really bother me. I mean, it would be nice to get something new, something innovative, but at this price point, I don’t expect that. What I’m looking for here, above all, is a watch that’s built to a decent standard. I’ll admit that Timex delivers in that regard.

Tradition obliges, so today, my choice of watch was limited to one: the Moonwatch.

No matter how wonderful the history behind these watches may be, the classic Speedmaster Professional is, above all, an exceptional timepiece. Its legible, timeless design and comfort cannot be overlooked when discussing this timepiece.

This watch is probably the best way to indicate that it's Tuesday without actually saying so 😅

In keeping with tradition, I am sharing more photos of my Moonwatch with you today. I'm continuing my adventure with ostrich leather straps. With this type of strap, I think my Speedmaster looks quite interesting. It certainly looks more elegant, which is unusual for a sports watch.
