Cheers to everyone who volunteered their time, donated, and partnered with us in 2023! A very special THANK YOU to the restaurant owners who continue to compost their food waste 🍲 AND to the wonderful parish of Church of the Holy Family Catholic Church for all their dedication to a healthier planet. Also to @oldbeachfarmersmarket for letting us sell our magical soil! Of course a big thank you to the locals who supported our at-home compost movement @sarah.a.mathews31 @aura.theory @philip_goold @elizabethlakethomas @mj_cass @lrnow @christeldhippie @j_nelsn @royflanagan7 @lcdfoodie @anita.plants.sunshine @ryanmhatcher @kristin__hatcher @friendsschoolvb @organicbeginningsvb @vawillson @blacknottfarms @pungofarm @ilcjourney

We Educate. We Demonstrate. We Create. We Do. A perfect example of sustainable and ethical food practices and the future @yorkiesvb

Cauliflower Rice Bowl
Farm Stand. Kitchen. Classroom. The Table. Compost. Garden. Grow.

@thecropfoundation and @drishticompost had the opportunity to partner with @norfolk_academy students in their Community Service Day. Students had the opportunity to engage with their local community to promote sustainable and ethical food practices and support local farmers. From here we’ll continue to collaborate on innovative projects to combat food waste and promote food security.

I can’t begin to tell everyone how impressed I am of this years CROP students!

Saturday night they worked beside some of 757’s best chefs at the Chesapeake Bay Wine Classic Foundation Dinner and they are always hungry for more.

If you ever need assistance with an event, catering gig, or even a private dinner at your house, we’re here for ya!!

Last Thursday we had an amazing opportunity to support CHKD. We had 12 Lil’ Chefs from 5 different schools help out. It’s all about CReating OPportunities!

Hosted by @beesnees and @babyginny of @getwellsoonxo - the inaugural event raised over $14,000 in ticket sales for @chkd_kids - wow! Thank you to everyone who supported the event and big thanks to Katie Denton for her vision to bring the community together and raise money for CHKD. ✨
