As part of the global Urgent Action Sister Funds consortium, we recognize that the majority of grantmaking globally is slow-moving. That is why we provide urgent resourcing to feminist activists and organizations according to their self-identified needs, acknowledging grant requests within 24-72 hours and making decisions as quickly as the same day.

We are there for movements in all moments on the continuum of crisis. #PlacingCareAtTheCenter means we do not wait for an acute crisis to break out to begin our action. And we do not fund when a crisis peaks and then step away: we recognize that activists have multifaceted needs that emerge over time as a crisis unfolds, and we accompany them long after most donors have moved on.

We support activists when and where they need it most. Join the campaign and stand in solidarity by:

As part of the global Urgent Action Sister Funds consortium, we recognize that collective care is not just a principle, but a lived commitment backed by concrete resources and practices.

✊🏾 In 2024, the Urgent Action Sister Funds’ combined collective care resourcing was $10million+ across 123 countries to support our grantee partners, 90% of whom work in highly repressive contexts.

🌸 In #PlacingCareAtTheCenter, we affirm that well-being is political, and acknowledge that centering care disrupts cycles of burnout and strengthens crisis response efforts.

As part of the global Urgent Action Sister Funds consortium, we are united as rapid response grantmakers and leverage our global network and regional expertise to mobilize resources, enhance our responses, and effectively coordinate support for feminist activists.

🌸 As the Sister Funds, we recognize that care is essential, not a luxury; that’s why in 2024, over 50% of the grants from our consortium included collective care components.

👯‍♀️ Together, we are #PlacingCareAtTheCenter by collaboratively addressing the self-identified collective care needs of activists and movements. Here’s a snapshot of the significant impact of our global collaboration in action.

Join us this World Immunization Week to promote healthy living for all mothers, babies, children, and adults. Vaccines are safe, effective, and protect against deadly diseases like tetanus, polio, hepatitis, and measles. Immunization saves lives, boosts immunity, and supports lifelong health. We encourage everyone to take advantage of free vaccination services at health centres whenever available and call on the Nigerian government and international partners to strengthen support for equitable, accessible immunization for all. Let's protect our future! one vaccine at a time!

We’re a part of the global Urgent Action Sister Funds consortium - a collective of feminist funds reaching over 160 countries. Together, we promote intersectional funding through a unique and adaptive rapid-response grantmaking model designed to direct flexible resources to support women, trans, and non-binary activists and their organizations during times of crisis.

From 2020 to 2024, we collaboratively mobilized and distributed over 60 million USD, partnering with a network of 700 activist advisors worldwide. Our advisors’ on-the-ground expertise enabled us to provide resources with remarkable speed and a clear understanding of where needs were most urgent across different countries and regions. We are collectively #PlacingCareAtTheCenter, to prioritize the well-being of activists and ensure the sustainability of movements that make effective crisis response possible.

Urgent Action Fund-ს, ფესტივალი თქვენ გარეშე ვერ შედგებოდა;
ჟოსლინ სააბის ფონდს, ფილმების გაზიარებისთვის;
პალესტინის ფილმის ინსტიტუტს, პალესტინური კინოს წინ წამოწევისა და ფილმების გაზიარებისთვის;
კინოს სახლს, მასპინძლობისთვის;
დავით დავითიანს, ტექნიკური მხარდაჭერისთვის;
ჩვენს სტუმრებს: ირინე ბურდულს, თათია დვალს, კაშიფ შარმა-პატელს, ნატალია მჭედლიშვილს, ალექსანდრა აროშვილს;
ჩვენს შესანიშნავ პროექციონისტს, მარიამ მინდორაშვილს;
ნინო გავაშელს, დიზაინისა და სოციალური მედიის ხრიკების გაცვლა-გამოცვლისთვის; გაბორ ერლიჰს, ტექნიკური მხარდაჭერისა და ფოტოების გადაღებისთვის.

Dear friends, dear film-goers, thank you so much for making Third Cinema Days possible. We had a wonderful 5 days and we are so pleased to have hosted so many interested people.

We feel confirmed in our belief that postcolonial film and cinema from the Global South must be screened and seen in Georgia. We are grateful for the conversations, questions and experiences we shared in engaging with radical cinema.

It was a joy to see so many people turn up for Palestine and Congo and Sudan, against colonialism and imperialism, for film as a generative and political art form.

Special thanks to:
Urgent Action Fund, for making our festival possible;
Jocelyne Saab foundation, for sharing her films with us;
Palestine Film Institute, for their efforts to shed light on Palestinian cinema, and for sharing films with us;
Kinos Sakhli, for hosting us;
