Morning coffee. Afternoon coffee. Evening coffee. We don’t make the rules ☕

It’s Monday, it’s the last day of August, and honestly this is the only routine we’ve managed to keep all summer.

See you at the bar. Probably three times.

Lo que más nos gusta de este trabajo: la gente.

Cada charla en la barra forma parte de lo que es One Cup.

The cup is part of the coffee ✨

Shape, weight, the way it holds heat — all of it reaches you before the first sip does.

Filter coffee, served the way it should be ☕

The client asked for somewhere to step out of his own life for a few days at a time.

That reframed everything.

We stopped designing a guest house and started designing a place to concentrate.

When a client tells you why they want a space, the brief usually rewrites itself.

Natural light is the only material in a project you cannot order.

Get it right and the artificial lighting becomes a supporting act. ☀️

Most rooms that feel wrong are rooms designed without watching the sun cross them.

Different houses, one method.

What connects these projects isn’t a style it’s a level of resolution. Junctions that line up, finishes that continue where they should, furniture specified to the room rather than to a catalogue, and nothing left to be decided at the end. ✨

Consistency across very different briefs is the only real evidence that a process exists.

The hardest conversation in a finca renovation is about restraint.

You can add contemporary comfort to a two-hundred-year-old house. You cannot add two hundred years to a new one.
