Interzone XVII: MULTIPASS 🔥💧🌬️🌱❤️
9/19/26 (Pt 2/3)

Earthlings and spacenoids alike traveled across the galaxy to witness the night’s performers! Whether they were on deck, rope, mic, or dance floor, they kept the energy high and appropriately celestial 💫

Stage rope by @dirtqueen and patio rope by @sinfulashtray (whose performance was so otherworldly it was uncapturable by film 💔)

Original song performed by our resident Diva @urine.lux

Burlesque by the incomparable @punk.freud.lex

And of course with this being a dance party, what would we do without DJ VIKTRA and DJ JAIL keeping the galactic grooves bumping throughout the night?

And that’s July ☀️

I think I’m gonna stick to end of month recaps on posts that are scrapbook style.

This month was packed full of amazing entertainers and seeing old friends! I got to see a VERY old friend - a friend I have had for a long time, he is not old - for the first time in a long bit! And I got to meet his very lovely wife. Also pictured: Emily my best pal.

I saw a fun show that was hosted by @aparasiteparadise and pics from the first slide are from, I love getting to see @urine.lux perform.

Then, I attended @alluring_impairments Freakshow Reclaimed. This troupe is genuinely ❤️ (idk what to say happy heart feeling here)

I also attended T-Fest with my roomie, got to catch a part of the music, and that same week was @loveoutloudfest (this had such amazing vibes, both places.)

The middle slide is where I’m gonna get vulnerable. I had some health issues pop up this year, and while I got some answers, there are a few I still have. I am in no danger health-wise, I’m just perplexed by the human bodies unique nature to tell how to throw a wrench in things.

As well as… i do go to a lot of these events alone, I’ve met some very lovely people doing this. If you needed a sign to do more things alone? This is me telling you it’s ok 🖤 and it’s even ok if you leave early because your bedtime is grandpa o’,clock. 👴 💋
With love,
Des.

And that’s PRIDE - June 2026 🌈

(if I forget to tag u I am so so sorry I have just the worst memory 😭 ❤️)

For the first time since I moved to Louisville, I didn’t attend Kentuckiania pride. To keep this from being a novel it’s always important to remember there is no freedom until we are all free. No pride in genocide.

Let me tell ya, this was the best choice I ever made. I got to meet so many new people and attend cool events where the focus was liberation and not a corporation.

The goal next year will for sure be to get my camera finally tuned back up and take better pictures to put in my (now pending) zine!

Events attended:

I broke down this week and just cried because this means so much to me. I help with a youth group for lgbtqia+ kids, and that is something that didn’t exist in my hometown. I’m not sure where I’d be today if it did but I’m so happy this place exists. Thank you all for just being so rad and keep shinning your beautiful stars across the Midwest sky because you definitely inspired me.
