There are people, places, and moments in life that change your life path forever. Yesterday, I was lucky enough to have all three. Contrary to belief, true love isn't just in movies. You just have to keep looking for it and eventually you will find it. Yesterday, we sealed our love for one another in Charleston, SC. I can now say I have true love. I am so lucky to have intimacy with such a beautiful person. I forever love you with all my heart ❤️

What a day... yesterdays nightmares of weather produce a dream of a race course. Everything happens for a reason. After a slow, conjested start, I was able to finish 7th in class. This was the last race of the series, and I have to say it was a great experience. It feels good to be racing again, and now I have an idea of what I need to do to be better for next season starting next Feb. I met the legendary Gordy Hicks and he told me all the stories of his hat he bought in 1960, and has been wearing ever since. Life puts you on a path where you need to be and puts people around you to learn from and enjoy. When we find comfort in our true selves, true people find us. These living moments will define us and carry us on the lifepath we need to be on. Thanks to everyone who made this race series happen. It is a lot of work organizing and putting these races on and I appreciate all of you that make it happen behind the scene.

Every day, we experience simple living moments that we sometimes take for granted. Slowing down and appreciating just how lucky we are to be alive and having these moments is everything. Living in these moments and enjoying the experience simplifies life and reminds us of why we are alive... I turned 31 this month and it did feel different. I usually spend some part of the day journaling about my year and setting intentions for the next one. But this time, I felt like it took me days, and then weeks, for me to really think about 31 and how I want to go into this next year, and I realized that I’m actually already on the path. I saw a post that said being in your thirties is coming back to the things you loved when you were 13, and I feel that. I like eating dessert. I like jumping in a cold lake on a hot day. My ideal day is still picking berries and fruit with my sisters. I like riding roller coasters and Ferris wheels, I like reading books, lots of them, I like snuggling with animals, and I like writing, my goodness, I like writing. I like dressing up, I like feeling strong, I like being silly and generally ridiculous. So I’m just going to keep doing that. Cheers to another year, and cheers to doing what we like. 💙
