Haven’t spent quite enough time standing in the rain lately but glad to if it means winning a championship. Amazing work 12U @uscglax and congratulations to all of Pittsburgh Lacrosse on a fun season. A whole lot of (mostly female!) effort goes into all of this, grateful for all of you ladies @lindsaycorr @catherine.e.totten @lmcarrabine @libbygesk ☀️.

🖤💛 Steelers might be on a bye week, but lacrosse is still rolling! 🥍
This one’s got the flyover from last Sunday, the roar of the crowd, and a few great takes on the new NCAA Women’s Lacrosse rules from Akron WLAX, Pitt WLAX, and Upper St. Clair HS athletes.

And of course… had to add a little extra pride from this 5th-generation North Side Pittsburgher 🙌

🚨🔥 COMMITMENT ALERT! 🔥🚨 We’re thrilled to celebrate Riley Powell (‘27) on her commitment to the admissions process at Eastern Michigan University! 🦅💚🥍 💥

Did you know? EMU women’s lacrosse is one of the newest programs in Division I, launching in 2022. Competing in the Mid-American Conference (MAC), the Eagles battle it out with Robert Morris, Akron, Kent State, Youngstown State, and Detroit Mercy. The program has already earned back-to-back IWLCA Merit Squad honors for academic excellence and, in 2025, ranked among the nation’s Top 25 in draw controls — quickly proving themselves as a rising force both in the classroom and on the field.

We’re so proud of you, Riley! We can’t wait to see you soar in the MAC! 🦅 #EMU #PPLCproud

I think I have had 5/17 circled on the calendar since the beginning of the year because I knew it would be a wild day and it absolutely met my assumptions.

Thank you to @olivia_bredell @thomas_eshleman @erinweber21 for covering my mountain of Saturday classes so I could have a full sports mom experience.
