Proud to have joined this amazing team from Student Affairs to attend and learn at the First Gen Forward Leadership Academy in Austin earlier this month. USD is part of the latest cohort to join this national network in enhancing support towards the success of first-gen students on our campus! Also had a terrific time building community, feasting on bbq, and enjoying some live music with new colleagues, collaborators, and friends. Thank you for this opportunity to go as your faculty representative! We have important work to do ahead...and together!

Thank you to my parents. I hope I always make your sacrifices worth it.

To my family and friends, thank you for loving me unconditionally and supporting me endlessly.

Thank you to my professors and advisors for seeing my potential, even when I couldn’t, and for sharing so much valuable knowledge with me.

Thank you to the organizations and clubs that welcomed me and gave me the space to grow as both a person and a leader.

And, of course, thank you to the University of San Diego for being amazing just the way it is. USD will always be my home.

So happy to say I’ve earned an Honors Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a Minor in Chemistry. 💙🤍
