Let’s talk about @useovrload 💬

Last year, I decided to try their Crealyte gummies for the convenience of travel. I thought they tasted great and offered a good alternative to standard creatine monohydrate powder and electrolyte powder. Sure, they were pricier, but sometimes you’re willing to pay a bit more for convenience, right? 💸

However, I recently watched a video from @jamessmith, an influencer I respect a lot in this industry, and it was a bit of a wake-up call. 😳 Apparently, these “gummies” barely contain any Creatine at all! That was a shock, considering I had been using them regularly. 😕

Since then, Ovrload has released a statement (see the second image in my post). While it’s possible there was an issue with their lab or even a mistake from a third-party competitor, we may never know for sure. 🔍

This situation has made me reconsider my approach to supplement shopping. Moving forward, I’m committed to doing proper research before buying any products. 🔎💪

I also think it’s time for the fitness industry, especially supplement brands, to prioritize third-party testing, at least once a month. Companies should be held accountable for the claims they make. What if we had a system similar to school inspections, like Ofsted, but for supplement companies? Imagine third-party testers from three independent agencies regularly checking these products to ensure they’re delivering exactly what they promise. ✅

With that said, once and if Ovrload ever goes back to market, should they be offering customers a refund or a new batch of gummies to make up for this? It’s a tough call, but transparency and customer trust are key. 🤔

Should there be more transparency in the supplement industry?
