Behind the stage design of the historic LEX concerts in Athens. Last weekend saw the greatest rap concerts in Greek history with approximately 100.000 people attending two landmark gigs by rapper LEX at OAKA complex. The impressive stage design & creative direction of the shows was led by innovative creative studio @nmrdotcc, the brainchild of @8317k and @usermilitia, which works in cross-disciplinary projects across music, fashion and culture. Bringing to life the themes of @lextgk’s music, NMR.CC explored themes of liminality in heavily industrialized areas, empty cities and abandonment as well as the theoretical term of ‘junk space’. Specifically, how convenience stores can become ‘oases’ for people in hostile metropolitan environments. Enjoy some exclusive photographs highlighting the creative process behind-the-scenes. —— #GreekVisions

Latest cinematography work for @lextgk, promoting his upcoming show at the OAKA complex. What seemed to be an insane idea on paper, visualised and brought to life by a phenomenal group of people. Arguably a career milestone delivering such visuals for this particular artist. Very grateful to director @angelsaft and producer @andreaskatsenis for having me on board. Much appreciation to @nmrdotcc for going above and beyond with the conceptualisation. credits: dir. @angelsaft prod. @andreaskatsenis @crystalviewfilms dp. @evansteez cd. @nmrdotcc @8317k @usermilitia ac. @simon_prasinos 2ac. @sofia.soupioni crane. @cinecrane @george_tsigas gaffer: @nikos_karageorgos_gr el.
