🚨🚴 SAFETY IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY — LET'S PROTECT OUR BULLS! 💚💛

Every day, thousands of students, faculty, staff, and visitors travel across our USF campuses. Whether you're walking, riding a bicycle, or driving, one moment of distraction can change a life.

The University of South Florida Police Department (USFPD) reminds everyone that campus safety starts with each of us!

🚴 CYCLISTS: Wear your helmet, obey traffic laws, stay visible, and always watch for pedestrians.

🚶 PEDESTRIANS: Use designated crosswalks, stay alert, put your phone away, and never assume a driver or cyclist sees you.

🚗 DRIVERS: Slow down, eliminate distractions, yield to pedestrians, and remain especially alert near crosswalks and busy campus areas.

No text, phone call, or destination is worth someone's life.

At USFPD, we're committed to keeping our campus community safe, but we can't do it alone. Your awareness, courtesy, and responsible decisions make a difference.

💚 Look out for one another. Share the road. Respect the crosswalk. Protect our Bulls.

Together, let's make every trip across campus a safe one! 🤘

I never see any of these photos included as part of the @usffootball history but the approval process for the program is one that shouldn’t be forgotten. I wish I had the originals of these pics. This was a moment on 9/15/95 with legend, Leroy Selmon & @castorbetty320 along with Regents Elizabeth Lindsay and Dennis Ross and our USF Athletic Director Paul Griffin throwing me the first football pass following us securing approval for the program. @rhiggins_usf @usfathletics @usfstudentgov #usfhistory #usf #usffootball #footballpassion #gobulls @usforacle @usf_pres @usouthflorida

Homecoming is always better when you’re part of the parade! 🤘💚💛

The Grow Financial Literacy & Planning Clinic had an incredible time participating in this year’s USF Homecoming Parade! It was an exciting opportunity to celebrate our Bull pride, connect with the USF community, and spread awareness about our mission of making financial education accessible to all.

We’re proud to be part of the Bulls community and can’t wait for more opportunities to show our USF spirit!

Go Bulls! 🐂

🌙🐂 Bulls by Day… Owls by Night!

While most of campus is winding down for the evening, our USFPD Night Shift is just getting started!

Our officers enjoy getting out of the patrol cars, meeting students, sharing a few laughs, and checking in with our Bulls who sometimes seem a little more like night owls. 🦉

And apparently, you don’t even have to be a Bull to stop by and say hello! Our Night Shift officers even met a friendly campus cat who looked like it was ready to join the Herd. 🐱🐂

We’re still waiting to see if it qualifies for a student ID!
Whether you’re heading home from a late class, leaving the library, grabbing a late-night bite, or just enjoying campus after dark, don’t hesitate to stop and say hello.

USFPD is here 24/7 — because apparently, Bulls, Owls…and a few cats never sleep! 😄

Stay safe, Bulls! 🤘🐂
