Buzzing with the worlds best pop stars & rock bands, alongside world renowned orchestras, cool jazz, folk to hip-hop.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A real privilege to be part of this year’s Festival of Remembrance at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall.

I’ll be performing alongside the @royalmarines band and the @theroyalregimentofscotland_ for an evening dedicated to remembering and honouring those who have served and sacrificed so much.
Something I’m incredibly proud to be involved in. Huge thanks to the @royalbritishlegionscotland for having me. ❤️

We will remember them.

Completing a summer filled with song in a Gala Concert at the Usher Hall celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the National Youth Choir of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

Following a Scottish anniversary tour to Paisley, Aberdeen, and Perth, performing newly commissioned Jay Capperauld’s ‘The World’, Jonathan Dove’s ‘The Passing of the Year’ & Carl Orff’s ‘Carmina Burana’, the celebrations culminated with a final concert with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, recorded for BBC Radio 3, and attended by the living composers of the programmed works.

Congratulations to NYCOS on all you have achieved in the past three decades. I look forward to seeing all that’s to come! 🩵

Hear it live on tour with Benjamin Grosvenor 🎟️

So poor were the reviews for his First Symphony, Rachmaninoff stopped composing for almost three years. Sunk in depression, he turned to Dr Nikolai Dahl, whose daily sessions slowly brought him back to the piano. What came out was his Piano Concerto No. 2, dedicated to the doctor who helped him write it. Over a century on, it’s one of the most loved pieces ever written. 🎹
