With everything happening around the globe, I felt compelled to sketch Damascus in Syria - a city looking towards an unpredictable future. 😔

Also, a first for me—posting pencil artwork! While this one’s color-inverted, it stays true to the original.

What do you think of this 'raw' style? Would you like to see more?

A Beautiful old ganesh temple belonging to family of my sir Ashok Kelkar.
.
Landscape, Acrylic on Paper This amazing place built by Ashok sir's forefathers is located at Bhalavali, Ratnagiri. Every year, Sir and his family come together here in the month of Magh (November) to celebrate Ganesh Utsav (Maghi Ganesh utsav). As an artist, its always amazing to sketch and paint amazing landacapes and places but it becomes more interesting when we come to know the stories behind it and memories associated with it. The year 2020 taught me many things and one learning was that while we sit at home, its time to stop for a moment and listen to such stories that we might have forgotten earlier. Amazing places that we may have neglected being in rush always. These stories and places keep surprising and make you feel positive, energetic and happy in these trying times. Let me know your thoughts on this in the comments below.
