I'm being told that today is Star Trek day, and while like in the case of Labor Day, we've already had a real one (April 5th), I won't turn down the chance to remind everyone that Star Trek depicts communism triumphant and that we will never get even a tenth of the way there in real life without socialism.

Sometimes it's fun, and sometimes it's like that knife in the back that Malcolm X spoke of. I'm of course talking about my comment sections.

I need to get me some Xena screenshots so I can do sapphic Sundays again—my biggest complaint about Star Trek is that theres not nearly enough shots of lesbians—but for now enjoy whatever this is #startrek #spirk #startrekmemes #startrekvoyager #startrekds9

I mean what a shocking coincidence that it all went down in Isfahan, right next to where Iran’s 60% enriched uranium is believed to be buried, and where the US military had already identified an airstrip to use. And the fact that they sent two humongous C-130’s in to rescue a single pilot is just an example of that great AMERICAN MIGHT! We do everything big, baby!!!
