Congratulations to the 2025 Spring Fling champions - Valks/Mac/USYD

In what turned out to be a beautiful day featuring some fantastic quadball, all teams put their best foot forward and the tournament was tough 'til the very end.

Thank you also to the ACT Rock Wallabies for hosting the lunch selection!

Earlier this month we teamed up with @usydquidditch to become the #UnspeakableFire #NewSyd 🔥🤫 for @quidditchaustralia QUAFL. We had an awesome weekend in Melbourne for the tournament, with a few of our players making their national debut. ❤️‍🔥

We were so proud of all our teammates, each player #broughtthefire and played tremendously.
No matter the competition, our team spirit was strong and prevailed, with each player coming away achieving personal bests.🔥

Sadly we didn’t get to play our constellation games due to weather but we were still standing and ready to #ignitethefire! 🔥🔥🔥

Results:
🔥 NewSyd vs. Sunshine Coast Scorpions ~ 10-150*

🔥 NewSyd vs. Monash Muggles ~ 30-120*

🔥 NewSyd vs. South Melbourne Centaurs ~ 140* - 110

🔥 NewSyd vs. ESU Dawnbreakers ~ TBC

🔥 NewSyd vs. Darlington Dragons ~ 40*- 140
