This month, @UtahDHHS partnered with @SaltLakeHealth, @SaltLakeCountyAnimalServices, @UtahHumane, and @PetcoLove to bring vaccinations to families (and fur babies) in need!

At this year’s Paws for Prevention, our vaccination teams served more than 450 people and animals total. Connecting families with services like this helps prevent the spread of disease in our communities.

Meet Pedrito!

Pedrito is a 1-year-old gorgeous brindle mixed-breed with an endearing and goofy personality. His playfulness and curiosity about the world are contagious, making Pedrito friends wherever he goes. This handsome pup may enjoy a fellow energetic dog friend in his new home, but would prefer a home without cats.

Pedrito is our @petcouture.co Posh Pup of the Week, meaning he is going to his new home with a gift certificate for a large Pet Couture dog bed. He is also eligible for a complementary training session with a member of HSU’s licensed behavior team! His adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccinations, as well as a certificate for a free wellness exam with a participating veterinary office.

Do you look at Pedro’s little blep, head tilt, and mismatched ears and think, “wow, I think that guy belongs with me?”
Meet him today at the Humane Society of Utah!

Corduroy isn’t searching for a missing button from his overalls... he’s searching for a home! 🏡

This 7-year-old mixed breed is as cute and cuddly as the teddy bear who shares his name. He transferred to us from another shelter, leaving much of his history a mystery. During his stay at HSU, we’ve learned that he’s a polite boy who knows basic cues such
as “sit” and loves to roll around in the grass 🧸

Corduroy is our @petcouture.co Posh Pup of the Week, meaning he is going to his new home with a gift certificate for a large Pet Couture dog bed. That’s right... he won’t have to search a department store for a missing overall button OR for a cozy new bed,
because he’s already got one! 🥰

Do you like Corduroy just the way he is? Meet him today at the Humane Society of Utah, or discover more about him at the link in @utahhumane’s bio! 💜

Adopt, try not to shop! Wookie has been the biggest blessing, hes funny, smart as sh*t, and loves a good nap. His favorite treats are ice cubes and he loves crunchy peanut butter and peices of steak we "accidentally" spill. He loves getting pampered (which is good for him that im a master esthetician 😉 ), and loves car rides and pup cups, he also loves listenting to Taylor Swift. Im not saying shelter dogs are the best, but weve never had a shelter dog that wasnt an angel (and i was lying, shelter dogs are the best) Go to your closest humane society and give them a chance 💖
