Cowboy hats off to the Utah's Own team! 💥 September is now the official month of Utah’s Own and we want to take a moment to shine a spotlight on the passionate, hardworking staff at the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food (UDAF) who bring this program to life every single day!

From connecting local farmers, ranchers, and artisans with retail opportunities to championing Utah-grown products across the state, this team works tirelessly to support our local agricultural economy.

We are especially proud to share that the program recently received the Excellence In Marketing Award at the NAAMO (North American Agriculture Marketing Officials) Conference! Program Manager, Emily Ashby, headed up the "Love Utah, Shop Local" campaign and presented it at the conference. Marketing teams from across the nation voted Utah the winner!

This honor is a direct reflection of the vision, creativity, and dedication of the entire team! The staff behind the program include:

👏 Marketing Specialists:
Adrianna Palmer, Mitch Garrett, Lanie Matlock, & Natalie Kane

Support also came from
Leon Page, UDAF PIO
Natalie McHale, Farm 2 Fork Program Manager
Allison Ross, Grant Manager
& last but not least team leader
Caroline Scheidell, Marketing and Economic Development Director!

Please join us in thanking and celebrating this incredible group for their award-winning work during Utah’s Own Month! 🚜🍎🥩

That’s a wrap on the Utah State Fair & Rodeo! 🤠

Another great year in the books, filled with good crowds, great rodeo, and plenty of memories made under the lights. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this year’s fair one to remember.✨

A night at Utah’s Own Rodeo that was a little more pink than usual. 💗

It was an honor to be part of an evening dedicated to breast cancer awareness and to stand alongside so many who have been touched by this fight. From the arena to the stands, the support was felt all night long.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Pink Night one to remember. 🩷

A few captures from a weekend that filled our hearts ❤️ So grateful for our time at @utahsownrodeo . It was even more special as we celebrated “Día del Charro” together as a family, carrying and sharing a tradition that means so much to us with the great crowd of Salt Lake City.

Now trading one State Fair for another… Albuquerque, New Mexico, we’re coming your way !
