The New EU-CONEXUS Intranet is Now Live!

We are happy to announce the launch of the new EU-CONEXUS Intranet – a dedicated space designed to make it easier for EU-CONEXUS students and staff to access all the important information, opportunities, and resources related to EU-CONEXUS in one place.

On the Intranet, you can find currently active calls, useful contacts, important links, job offers and other opportunities.

🔗 Access the Intranet: link in bio

🔐 Log in using your university account.
Please note that registration for EU-CONEXUS calls will currently take place through the Intranet, rather than through the official EU-CONEXUS website. We recommend checking the Intranet regularly for new opportunities and updates.

💬 We also want to hear from you! After logging in, you can complete the Intranet Feedback Survey and share your suggestions on how we can improve the platform and what information you would like to find there.

🎁 By completing the survey, you will also get a chance to win Beats Solo Buds. To participate in the competition, make sure to provide your email address and select your university in the survey. Winners will be selected on 22 October and contacted personally.

Vineri, 9 octombrie, ne vedem în Piața Favorit! 📸

🌡️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?
Last week, at 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀❜ 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 🇷🇴, visitors got a hands-on introduction to some of the research and technologies behind 𝗘𝗨-𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗨𝗦 𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘𝗦. 🔬

One of the highlights was a multi-instrumented thermal manikin – a laboratory “human” equipped with sensors to measure temperature and assess thermal comfort.

🌡️ Its Digital Twin showed how real-world measurements can be connected with simulations and real-time analysis of indoor environments. 🏢

A great evening of making science visible! 🔬

🌊 From real-life challenges to innovative solutions – this was PORTATHON 2026!

The EU-CONEXUS ENABLES project joined forces with Klaipeda University and Klaipėda Science and Technology Park to bring an international innovation community together for PORTATHON 2026. 🚀

Last weekend over 48 hours, 120 participants from more than 10 countries, forming 18 teams, worked on real-life challenges faced by ports and industry. The event brought the EU-CONEXUS ENABLES network into action, connecting partner universities, researchers, ports, businesses and innovation experts from across Europe in Klaipėda.

🏆 And the winners are:

🥇 KU.exe – the Klaipeda University students team tackled the BlueSediments challenge from La Rochelle, France, developing a solution for more sustainable sediment management and dredging.

🥈 FEZ Guard – developed a prototype platform for managing industrial incidents and emergency situations for the Klaipėda Free Economic Zone.

🥉 CFDP – tackled the Klaipėda Port challenge by proposing a concept for creating real demand for green hydrogen in the transport sector.

All participants, mentors, challenge providers, partners and supporters who contributed their time, expertise and energy: your involvement turned 48 hours of intensive teamwork into new ideas with real-world potential. 💡 This is what EU-CONEXUS ENABLES is about! 🌍
