shoutout to @jvstntheartist

he’s someone that tapped in with me not long ago at all and has since become one of the most active members in the ors community man

he just dropped a new album and i’m not even gonna lie, i really had no clue as to what jvstn sounded like until i took a listen to the album and was so surprised

it’s so nice to see something refreshing being done in the underground and i think that’s exactly what jvstn is able to do on his new project

he pulls from so many influences all over the album, with some tracks and sonics being a little more reminiscent of frank ocean, some more of artists such as mac miller, and kanye as well as long with many more. the kanye influence is something that stood out to me and i think jvstn pulls it off so well with this song ‘lust’ off the album

it’s the song that i showcase right here in the second slide, and something i love is how each one of the tracks off the album and right here too progress throughout with interesting instrumentals. it keeps the project fresh and although i think jvstn still has a little ways to go in terms of finding his own unique sound and perfecting it, i cannot tell you how refreshing it is to me to finally listen to an artist trying something outside of the box and pulling it off in a dope way

listening to the song and album for that matter was really refreshing to me, and i hope y’all can find that same enjoyment in jvstn’s music and hopefully decide to tap in with him too cuz he’s mad cool <3

swipe for the snippet to ‘lust’ though. how’s it sounding? lmk in the comments below <3
