Shots “RED” by StyleBandits and UberHolen

A collaborative automotive film photography magazine curated around the color “RED”

I was always drawn to red with no explanation of why, and the Shots UberHolen format was the perfect slate to use to involve more than just my photos.

7 collaborators in total, all curated by me to create a gradient of automotive reds from all genres, lowriders, drift cars, F1 cars, and F40s. Theres something for everyone here.

This project was so nice to make, I felt the want to make a magazine around the color red and bring on a lot of collaborators and the Shots @uberholen.dept series seemed like the perfect fit.

Almost 2 years later there’s a final magazine and we’re now just a week and a bit out from releasing it 🫂

Don’t over think projects and just do what excites you the most

I came to @uberholen.dept about a year ago now to propose a StyleBandits featured and curated edition of his series, Shots.

Lots of proofs, sorting, collaborators, and layouts later the magazine was finished. All centered around something that finds me without me seeking it out, the color red.

This is a lot of the pitch, process and some final spreads in the magazine. So honored to have a piece in his series alongside so many talented photographers.
