BOOK CLUB: ALL H00KERS GO TO HEAVEN 👼

The second edition of our bookclub will be hosted by @alma.rio.cromstege in the space of @utsopi.be in Brussels, and we’re going to talk about @angel_bh___ novel ‘ALL H00KERS GO TO HEAVEN’

“All H00kers Go To Heaven follows Mag: an East Coast girl raised in a conservative Christian home where she is urged to preserve her purity at all costs. Obsessed with earning a place in heaven, Mag rejects the hyper-sexual youth culture of her small town—that is, until she falls for a sophisticated, fun girl named Marlous while attending a program designed to usher young people into Evangelical Missionary work.

Spiraling into shame and regret, Mag breaks away from the Church and launches herself into the world of s€x for hire, attempting to shed her repressive past and become an anti-virgin—the exact opposite of what her religion raised her to be. As she hustles across continents, Mag finds her obsession has shifted. Instead of heaven, now she is focused on chasing the elusive, ever-shifting concept of financial security. In the process, she finds it harder and harder to differentiate the money she earns from her self-worth—and her own identity from that of her sex worker alter ego.”

We’ll pick fragments from the book that we will hand out and will discuss together. So if you weren’t able to read the full story, you can also join!

You’ll find the link to reserve your spot in our bio.

Hope to see you there <3

For any questions, our DM’s are always open ⭐️

And performers @spring_showerss & @billiewyns

And to @utsopi.be , Gia, Serafina and Lola thank you for putting together a reading list for those who want to continue learning and deepen their knowledge around the topics explored during the talk. 🖤
