WELCOME WEEK UNDERSTAND THE ASSIGNMENT.

Three nights. Three different themes. One weekend that’s about to set the TONE for the entire semester.

🛥️ THURSDAY — Yacht Party
🚨 FRIDAY — Baywatch
🌴 SATURDAY — Tiki Night

Don’t wait until the videos start hitting your feed to wish you were there. Get your tickets now, plan your fits and come ready for the biggest weekend of the semester.

🎟️ Tickets available through the link in our bio.

WE SAID WHAT WE SAID.

Three nights. Three completely different experiences. Thousands of students back in Tyler—and TONE is bringing everyone together for one unforgettable Welcome Week.

WHY CHOOSE ONE WHEN YOU CAN DO ALL THREE?

Pull up for one or make it a full weekend. Either way, don’t be the person watching everything through someone else’s story.

🎟️ Single-night tickets and three-day passes available through the link in our bio.

Don’t get booted from the door because you were the one in the group that didn't follow the theme or dress code.

Our three-night fit check.

For the guys: Hawaiian button-ups, clean shorts or pants with a button and zipper, and closed-toe shoes. No tanks, athletic shorts, joggers, slides, ski masks, durags or bandanas.

For the girls: colorful sets, floral dresses, tropical skirts, bikinis, beachy accessories and island-inspired looks.

Use the lookbook for inspiration—but remember, Bricks’ regular dress code will still be enforced at the door.

TONE was started because we believed college students in East Texas deserved more than the same basic night out every weekend. We wanted to create events that felt intentional—different themes, better production, exciting environments and experiences people would genuinely remember. But just as importantly, we wanted to build a community where people could meet, connect and enjoy themselves without feeling uncomfortable or unsafe. That’s why we invest in security, sober staff, trained team members and clear expectations at every event. TONE is about giving students a place to step away from school, work and everything else going on in life for a few hours—but the experience only works when everyone looks out for each other. Plan a safe ride, stay aw

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for another Greek of the Week. This week we go back to Kappa Sigma! Tye Maldonado has been in Kappa Sigma since Spring of 2022. Tye has been a member who steps up for the community, taking initiative to get things done and helping showcase and grow Kappa Sigma and the Greek community.

When we asked Tye about what he loves about being Greek at #uttyler, he said "What I love about being a UT Tyler Greek is the way it brings people together. It has not only allowed me to showcase my ability to recruit good people by means of fellowship, be a good example of a fraternal brother by my leadership but also, given the tight knit community of UT Greeks, my service experience has been invaluable in helping me grow and support my brothers. We form men and with each passing day the brothers around me quickly become steadfast in standing for something greater and bigger than themselves. We live by our actions and temper every decision with wisdom. In this order of fellowship, scholarship, leadership, and service what Kappa Sigma has taught me is that great men can always be greater, the mountain never ceases to be climbed and after all has come up well, service your community and fellow brothers and sisters."

Well said, Tye and thank you for your commitment to Kappa Sigma and our Greek community. Want to be a part of something bigger? Check out our organizations. You can find the links in our bio. Know someone who would be a great Greek of the Week? Check out the link in the Greek Weekly email! #beapartofsomethingbigger #gogreek a man dressed in a blue shirt with white "Kappa Sigma" letters holding a red crayon.
