One of our favorite Italian restaurants in the Upper East Side!! The best place for a fun group dinner and to share a bunch of yummy apps and mains. Their $5 martinis during happy hour on Mondays is one of the best deals we have found in the city!! Save this spot for your next cozy fall dinner!!

sometimes you neglect the local gems - exhibit A being that I haven’t been to @uvanextdoor up until two weeks ago only to be shook by the amount of GF options available 😵 couldn’t resist the vegetable lasagna (which is only made gluten free) 100% will be back to work my way through the menu 😂

Carb loading NYC styleeee 😎

Had been thinking about this post for a minute because I know so many runners are traveling in next month (also how is @nycmarathon only 1 month away !!!??? 🧡🧡🧡)

So while there are SOOO many more options across the boroughs not listed here, here are some spots I’ve actually eaten at in Manhattan that you could definitely find greattt + also some simple carb-loading eats at 🥰

Some with multiple locations depending on where you’re staying

Some I’ve literally had the day/night before a big run & that have manyyy options

And even if you’re not running the marathon next month, hopefully you could still use these if you’re in NYC soon!

📍Uva Next Door on the UES 🍝🍸🍰🫒 Their pizza tartufata & garganelli alla vodka were amazing!! For dessert, tried out their olive oil cake which was pretty good too ⭐️ Drinks and atmosphere were amaze, definitely going back to this spot 🙌🏼

a delicioussss 3-course gluten-free @uvanextdoor meal for @nycrestaurantweek that has me already planning my next visit to nyc 🤤🍴

I ordered:
🍮 crème brûlée cheesecake — easily one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had
🍋 fusilli al limone
🥗 caesar salad
🍸 amelia rose cocktail

and the gluten-free options?! so expansive. basically anything on the menu could be made gf (yes, even the chicken parm 🙌).

between the incredible gf options and that dreamy cheesecake, uva next door is officially on my nyc must-return list. 💕
